Liya Bergstrom is no newcomer to the beauty industry. She has worked her way from the bottom up starting off in the industry as a front desk associate in salon at 18 to working as a salon social media coordinator, an assistant, to finally becoming a licensed stylist.

Her driven nature and desire to push limitations ultimately led to becoming an independent artist (self-employed) by age 21.

Very soon after, Liya was inspired to build and cultivate a healthy salon culture for other stylists to enjoy which led her to open Sand Bar Beauty and become a salon owner in 2019.

As a salon owner she has spent the last 4 years training & teaching stylists to create success behind the chair as independent stylists.

Since then Sand Bar Beauty has grown exponentially and is now home to some of Tampa Bay's most talented artists.

Liya’s passion to empower women and help them succeed has kindled the opportunity to coach over dozens of stylists on their journey in the hair industry.
